And carried by alchemy between Paul Bettany and Elizabeth Olsen, it is with brilliance that the bet is raised.

More or less detailed (between softness and surgical precision), granular (a texture added in post-prod for the situation comedy of the 80s-90s) and contrasted (with deep and natural blacks) according to the times represented, it offers a solid HDR10 encoding that boosts the primary (more pop) and lighting (more sparkling).
The fluctuating stability of backgrounds such as the vulnerability of compression (including tingling and positioning on flats) seen in streaming are only a distant memory, even though the glowing energy around Scarlet Witch's hands continues to give rise to a slight banding (certainly due to too much brightness during calibration).
SON - Released, delivered 🎶
Unidirectional before being tempted by multichannel spatialization, the soundtrack sticks to the skin of the intrigue without overflowing. The dialogues (like the laughter of the audience) are clear, the effects/ambiences increasingly enveloping and the musical score (signed Christophe Beck) always in the tone.
Unlike its SVOD operation where it lacked punch, the last straight line benefits from an engaging dynamic (less on the wisest VF Dolby Digital 5.1) and reinforced bass (especially for engines and explosions). As for the verticality of the VO, it is heard with magical powers and when protagonists fly above the audience.
CONCLUSION - Full powers
Tribute to the history of television, WandaVision take advantage of technological developments (HDR10 encoding + Dolby Atmos mixing) to have fun with image and sound, both treated with respect by the present 4K Ultra HD. What is grievance, if not love persevering?
