MaG is a bit of a meeting of video game and cinema, the naughty little duck who would finally join the seventh art. Long left for poor parent of artistic productions, the video game today raised to the rank of first cultural industry, did not fall far from the reel. When they are not singing each other, cinema and video game have an original, if not complementary, relationship.
According to this once defended alchemy, a small team of enthusiasts seeks to fire all wood against stereotypes, cultivating a flawless love of the two Arts, from the nanar to the blockbuster through the indie box. Our valuable company is divided into two sections: Movie and Game (MaG), with the slogan of the freedom of tone of each of its contributors. KillerS7ven or K7 for intimates, my first videoludic months started at the age of 7. Bathed in saga hemoglobin Resident Evil and Dino CrisisI've never stopped playing. A fervent Nintendo player but not a penny for a penny, I also smote the seas on Playstation like Xbox before failing on PC. Happy owner of a RTX 4070, I can now enjoy Lara's TressFX in all its splendor.
It's a long way from the time of the Game Boy Color where it lit under the halogen to play Zelda and Pokémon. I now cultivate unmasked love for indecisive games (Inside, The Swapper), arcade games at Japanese school (Furi, Treasure type games Bangai-O), the demanding 2D platform as 3D as well as fast-FPS acidified as the last Doom. The game that went back the most on summer nights: Alien Isolation. My narrative slap: the saga The Last of Us.
The chainsaw and the double shotgun are my allies ingame. I like to play fast and well. Revive by friends on Warzone and Hunt). And why KillerS7ven in all this then? Some murmur that this is an asserted tribute to the game of Suda51, where one controls a schizophrenic hit man to the seven personalities. Others claim that it is the film Seven Finder on a psychopath working on the theme of the 7 capital sins. The 7 colors of the rainbow, the 7 heavens of Islam or the 7 voices of Manuel Valls in Barcelona? God knows!

It all started at 10 years with the purchase of an NES and its cartridge containing Duck Hunt / Super Mario Bros. What a joy to see this little man and his red bikini explode the bricks and joyfully jump the smile to the lips to trample the Goombas. That Mario, he knew how to have fun at the time!
A few years later my tastes have of course evolved, my Mario now has an M16 and bursts by flying an assault tank in Battlefield. What do you mean, the Bowser across the street put a bullet between the two eyes? It must be a « Cheater » Hey! And no Arthur... I'm not coming into your helicopter to throw C4 on the guys across the street.
Outside the video world, I am also an amateur of mangas and animes with a Proust madeleine named Dragon Ball. Though I read or watch other works, I always return to this one. And how could I not quote South Park Who made Eric Cartman discover this soft character? He who is so open-minded, always there for his neighbor, and constantly has the little word that will reassure his friends! I'm F-A-N. Fuck you and I'll go home. I don't know.

At the dawn of maturity, I dip a first foot in a film festival. Like a fish in the water, I found my place. I bit to the hook of the seventh art and let myself be carried away into the nets of this world which opens its hatches filled with golden chests caught in the seabed, stories of legendary mermaids and pop-coloured films.
Falling in love with this heritage, I go through the abyss between the great classics of d'antanth today forgotten, the star directors lost in indifference and the actors tarnished by time, with an ever more devoring curiosity. And when I go up to the surface, my compass and sextant always move to the nearest movie theater! Today from my native lake to the foothills of the North Sea, I study the remains of an era, for a day, build my own ship, gather my crew and take off. One day I'll be king of filmmakers!

The video game is an integral part of my life from my early childhood and will certainly accompany me until the day when, in a last breath, I will collapse controller in front of the twentieth iteration of Resident Evil.

Souvent à contre-courant des tendances actuelles, je m’intéresse autant aux œuvres qu’à leur fabrication. Que ce soit pour le 7e ou le 10e art, les story-boards, making-of ou autres B-Roll revêtent d’une importance tout aussi capitale que le produit final.
Vénérant les gros reptiles depuis l’ère Jurassic, la salle de cinéma est mon terrarium. Cinévore, je parcours les festivals pour rassasier mon appétit de films.
Véritable archéologue du support physique depuis la VHS et le DVD, je suis toujours à la recherche du Graal en 4K ou en 3D !
Kilian Junker (Mr Wilkes) - Critique ciné féru de fantastique
Buvant les Stephen King comme la sirupeuse abricotine de mon pays natal, j’ai d’abord découvert le cinéma via ses (souvent mauvaises) adaptations. Épris de Madame Wilkes autant que d’un syndrome de Stockholm persistant, je m’ouvre peu à peu aux films de vidéoclub et aux poisseuses séries B.
Après un parcours scientifique, j’étudie ensuite la biologie qui me pousse à chasser (pacifiquement) le loup durant la journée et à attendre le soir pour rejoindre le peuple lycanthrope de mes films d’horreur à deux balles. Puis la découverte d’un certain David Lynch, et plus particulièrement son indétrônable chef-d’œuvre Lost Highway, me file un uppercut qui me poussera définitivement à hanter les salles obscures.
Aujourd’hui, j’erre entre mes cinémas préférés, les festivals de films et les bordures de lacs helvétiques bien moins calmes qu’ils en ont l’air.
Loïc Adam (Araxe) - Critique ciné amateur d'images
Je préfère lire les images que les regarder. J’essaie de trouver le chemin entre le bord et la marge. En réalité, je suis perdu dans un interstice qui permet à une page de tenir. Cette bio est à lire littéralement et dans tous les sens comme une image. Au cinéma, je m’efforce de me mettre au milieu de la salle pour ne pas sentir le cadre débordé. Souvent, je me dis qu’être au plus près de l’image m’accorde le privilège de la lire avant les autres. En fait, c’est une connerie. On ne voit rien, mais souvent, il n’y a rien à voir. J’accepte les dormeurs lors de la séance, ils me donnent l’impression qu’elle n’existe pas. Et j’aime bien sentir que tout cela n’est qu’une projection.

Hermite en devenir, depuis longtemps l’esprit égaré dans de vieux livres, j’ai caressé l’espoir de créer avant de me rendre à l’évidence, il y a trop à lire et trop peu de temps. Je me contente alors de gratter quelques honnêtes papiers sur le jeu vidéo, depuis plus de quinze ans, ayant sévi sur nombre de sites au fil du temps. Arrivé ici un peu par mégarde, j’ai à cœur de partager mes ressentis sur un backlog monstrueux, que j’attaque au compte goutte, et parfois sur des titres récents, selon l’agenda.
Vous ne me trouverez sur aucun terrain de foot, et j’ai depuis longtemps tourné le dos à la franchise Pokémonwhich was my first love. But you're likely to see me appear if you say three times Biohazard devant un miroir, à l’heure du crime ; si vous partez en urbex dans la colline silencieuse ; défendez Bordeciel devant Nilfgaard ; ou si vous lancez un débat sur qui de Megaten ou de Persona mérite le plus votre temps (spoiler : la série principale).
Entre deux lectures de Poe ou de Bukowski, j’avale du J-RPG comme s’il s’agissait de fruits frais ; m’arrache les cheveux (et les cordes vocales) sur League of Legends ; découvre (ou redécouvre) la ludothèque PlayStation 2 (particulièrement sa section horrifique) ; m’essaie à toutes sortes de petites sucreries indépendantes sur Steam ; gâche inutilement mon temps sur Vanquish, Diablo III, Afro Samurai or DOOM, que j’ai déjà terminé bien trop de fois…

En grand écart comme Jean-Claude entre l’Asie et l’Amérique, j’aime autant me balader sur les hauteurs du Mont Wu-Tang que dans un Saloon du Nevada, en faisant la plupart du temps un détour dans les ruelles sombres d’un Tokyo futuriste.
Si Roger n’a pas eu ma peau, c’est à coup sûr parce que mon Interceptor a la rage du tigre sous le capot. Toutefois, il vaut mieux ralentir… Qui sait ? Kaneda pourrait ainsi me passer devant et me guider jusqu’à la 36e chambre !

Initiated at a very young age, I grew up with my eyes in front of the works of Hitchcock, Chaplin, Cecil B. DeMille, or Cocteau. I will never forget my first cinemaphilic chills in front of the shower scene of Psychosis, the tank race of Ben-Hur, and the roaring of the T-Rex of Jurassic ParkNeither the endless laughter of Louis de Funès' brilliant pitteries. A big fan of westerns, violent thrillers, and barred genre films, I like the work of Clint Eastwood or Park Chan-wook just as much as the fat comedy way American Pie.
Défenseur du format physique depuis toujours, je collectionne les éditions 4K et Blu-ray à un rythme déraisonnable, mais quand on aime on ne compte pas ! Dévoreur de films crépusculaires, traducteur littéraire nocturne et spécialiste auto-proclamé du cinéma islandais, je traque les longs-métrages de nuit comme de jour, mais surtout de nuit, pour en tirer la substantifique moelle nécessaire à la survie du cinéphile affamé.

I started my video trip at the age of 4, discovering Alex Kidd on Master System and Robocop on Amstrad GX4000. A console player in my soul, I have had unforgettable adventures with exceptional women and men such as Samus, Solid Snake, Joanna Dark, Kain and James Sunderland. Then, over the years, caught up with the fantasy of getting what I didn't have until then, I discovered the FPS PC through Gordon Freeman's and JC Denton's glasses, leading to a quasi-exclusive relationship to this support, to an infidelity on Switch by.
Eclectic and yet demanding player, I seek above all to live an experience. I especially enjoyed strolling through the decors of Vvardenfell and Tallon IV, membrumming the spirit in the city of Silent Hill and helping my brother Paul in the alleys of Hells Kitchen. A fervent defender of games that are not sold, I dedicate an infinite love to the Immersive Sims, while being upset by the robotic introspection of 9S and galvanized by the quest for destruction of the Khan Maykr. Far from having the look frozen in the mirror, I was taken away by my trip to Night City, loved to be manipulated by the madness of Martha Is Dead and do tender purrons to robots in Stray.
Movie lover, I was upset by the trip « Interstellar » and captivated by the discovery of the Secret of flying daggers, while pouring a tear to the First Contact an alien form.

Probablement bercé trop près du mur-aille de Chine, j’ai dès l’enfance reproduit les geste de Jackie Chan face à l’écran. Aujourd’hui, mes réflexes étant plus proches de Pierre Richard que d’un Ninja des années 80, j’écume les « cinémas du monde » à la recherche d’émotions à base de tatane ou non.
Fan de Tarkovski, Michael Mann ou encore De Palma, je me concentrerai ici sur le cinéma dit « oriental », aussi bien les drames que les comédies ou les films d’action. Ainsi, tel Jean-Claude van Damme, je peux faire le grand écart entre Apichatpong Weerasethakul (oui oui, j’ai vérifié sur Google) et John Woo avec la plus grande souplesse (et sans trace de « farine » autour du nez).

Passionate about seventh art for over ten years, dark rooms have become my second home. After three years of studying Cinema at the University of Strasbourg, I decided to pursue them in Brussels, where I joined INSAS in 2019. Having joined since the writing of the webzine Maze.fr au sein de la rubrique Cinéma, mon aventure dans la critique ne compte pas s’arrêter là.
Combiner écriture et septième art reste pour moi le plus savoureux des mélanges. Digérer une expérience filmique et la mettre en mots, donner envie, aiguiller les spectateurs en amont ou pendant leur propre digestion, me fait vibrer au plus haut point. Entre journalisme et pensée, page et écran.

Biberonné très tôt au cinéma, je découvre Belmondo, Delon, Ventura par mon père, Bruce Lee par ma mère et les blockbusters américains par mon frère. Si j’ai eu la chance de découvrir sur grand écran Rambo 3, Terminator 2, Jurassic Park and even Super Mario Bros (et oui !), c’est la découverte du magazine Mad Movies and especially of Blade Runner en VHS qui va me faire tomber amoureux du 7ème art.
Séchant les cours de sport pour me rendre au vidéoclub le plus proche, j’avalais de la pellicule comme d’autres des bérets verts au petit déjeuner (les vrais comprendront). Passant de Citizen Kane to Bloodsport, of Heat to Suspiria, of Mortal Kombat to One hundred thousand dollars in the sun, je suis curieux de tout et ma soif de cinéma est sans limite.
Aujourd’hui, casanier dans l’âme, acheteur (presque) compulsif de galettes 4K et abonné aux plateformes de streaming Netflix, Amazon Prime or Disney+, I prefer the sweet atmosphere of the home for my intensive viewing.

Bonjour à toi qui a la chance de lire ma biographie ! Sache que tu ne liras pas souvent des articles de ma part, mais tu auras la chance d’entendre ma voix très régulièrement sur la chaîne YouTube.
Au commencement, il n’y avait rien puis… Non on va pas remonter aussi loin, mais le cinéma ça a commencé avec la saga James Bond vers les 9 ans. Cette même saga qui est ma toute première collection de cinéphile d’ailleurs.
Bref, j’ai la chance de pouvoir t’offrir plusieurs contenus en rapport avec le cinéma, même si je suis un grand Gamer, je resterai sur les terres du 7ème dans lequel j’ai fait des années d’études. Tu auras le choix avec le podcast critique « On refait le ciné ! », qui reviendra sur les films et séries du moment au cinéma comme en SVOD.
En clair : débats, actualité, critiques, quiz, voilà les éléments que je te propose pour je l’espère te permettre de voir le cinéma d’une autre façon.

Passionné par l’illustration, il puise principalement son inspiration débordante de la bande-dessinée, qui remplit sa bibliothèque et épuise son compte en banque. Qu’il s’agisse de la BD franco-belge, de cartoon des 50’s ou de mangas, Loïc aime marier les approches et styles graphiques de toutes époques. Nina Hernandez - Notre Graphiste
Au tout début quand MaG n’était qu’un vague nom de domaine, nos joyeux pères fondateurs s’interrogeaient sur la forme que prendrait le site. A la recherche d’une graphiste, de fil en aiguille – et après une quête arrosée – nous avons rencontré l’élue. Déjà bien implantée dans le terreau local strasbourgeois et à l’origine de la charte graphique de l’association No Limit Orchestra, Nina était toute destinée pour habiller MaG de la tête aux pieds. On lui doit toute la charte graphique du site avec des brainstorming comme on sait faire en Alsace : bières et flammekueches s’il vous plaît !
Yann Garcia (Blue) - L'homme qui murmurait à l'oreille de WordPress
Formerly bartender anchored to the bistro of the eternal Perestroika, Sergent Garcia is now a developer. Without him, MaG would be full of bugs of all kinds. If MaG were an RPG, Yann would be the shadow man who sends Soyuz missiles from his smartphone, the Denis of computer science that blew up Jurassic Park. Always the hands in the code – the equivalent of the mechanical cambouis – Yann is our joker that we know how to pamper with big hops!
LE SYSTEME DE NOTATION
Il s’applique pour les tests techniques (support physique et SVOD) et s’échelonne progressivement de 0 à 10. Avec une note de 0 c’est consternant, de 5 c’est moyen et de 10 c’est excellent (chef-d’œuvre pour l’œuvre). La note est composée des variables artistique, vidéo et audio. Comme l’appréciation personnelle n’est pas le fruit d’une simple somme algébrique, le tout est accompagné d’un badge qui traduit le ressenti final du testeur. Libre à chacun d’entre eux d’y apposer le badge qu’il souhaite quelle que soit la note obtenue !
