After sowing chaos in the park, Dolores, now at large, tries to lead a revolt against humans in the real world, while Bernard does everything to stop it. Meanwhile, Maeve finds himself in a new park area on the theme of World War II...

Worn by tragic heroes and placed even more openly under the sign of science fiction, this 3rd season less complex and more « Human » (i.e. vulnerable) still remains as ambitious (writing and staging).

Superb despite the presence of some white dots (cf. the last two episodes), this UHD Dolby Vision transfer splashes the retina with its homogeneous silver texture, its fantastic details (the textures of the costumes), its ultra-working colors (as futuristic as well as realistic), its remarkable contrasts (the blacks are of a staggering depth) and its illuminations to no other like (especially the Singapore neons).

And vis-à-vis the Blu-ray, the image is infinitely more precise and brilliant.

SON – He who has ears to hear, hear!

The VO Dolby Atmos has a beautiful sound amplitude and benefits from an exemplary wrap and distribution (effects/ambiances go through all channels).

At the side, the VF is less extensive and enveloping (absence of verticality).

CONCLUSION – Every good thing has an end...

Fascinating since in perpetual reinvention, Westworld continues patiently orchestrating its planetary revolution in 4K Ultra HD... Especially since it is one of the few series on the support!
