Intentionally dull, hazy and febrily defined, this sharp image (captured in Super 16 and Super 35) with dated softness, diaphane lighting, deaf colorimetric palette, faded contrasts and marked silver texture is in no way blinking but indeed morose... Like the Princess of Wales' state of mind!
SON – A descent to the royal hells
Frontal above all and juggling between the felted confessions and the sharp strings of a score under the influence of jazz, this soundtrack little worn on the atmospheres (continuously modest) and/or the « estocades » (the bass are light) is no less connected to Diana Spencer's emotional state.
CONCLUSION – On the brink of the nerve crisis...
Locked in a golden prison that this Blu-ray returns « As at the time », Lady Di is projected in a terrible fairy tale... Wouldn't it be time to leave the place, ma'am?
