The rider of the night sows terror at the wheel of his car until Max Rocktansky, the aces, stops. But his interventions are not everyone's taste...
Visionary at its publication in 1979, the first opus of the cult saga Mad Max is a dystopic anticipation film to the road violence previously unheard of, which would succeed in imposing Max Rockatansky anti-hero in collective memory.
Widely at the height of the task, even if compressive traces can enter the race (continuation), the image with granular edges spreads details of a beautiful generosity (cf. the irregularities of the bitumen), a dynamic of the increased colors, clearly reinforced contrasts (the depth of the blacks is well spoken) and the most prominent reflections (the bodies).
From the roaring of the engines to the magnitude of the score, the multichannel soundtrack is rather immersive even if the rears were not part of the adventure at first.
For purists, the original mono track remains a safe value.
Great news for fans, this classic comes to us today in a 4K Ultra HD with beautiful bodywork and big motorization!
Nyctalope like Riddick and with a very good hearing, I am ready to jump on physical editions and SVOD platforms. But if the quality isn't on the rendezvous, stop at the bite! #WeLovePhysicalMedia
