WORK – The end of a world,...
In the near future, a mysterious red moon is being exploited for its energy. As she suddenly changes her trajectory and goes straight to Earth, Paul W.R, the only astronaut able to destroy it, refuses to accomplish this mission and disappears. Trapped unabated, Paul crossed the road of Elma, a teenage girl with an explosive temperament who would accompany her in flight.
Fable d'anticipation ecolo à la traverse des universes by Jules Verne, Moebius and Ridley Scott, this first film by a director as promising as he is passionate (the beginning of a great career?) is a work of science fiction made in France certainly clumsy by place (some writing deficiencies) but above all ambitious, singular and visually splendid. In short, a real film proposal!
IMAGE – Moon Lens
Ultra-pointu (cf. the textures of the desert and the decors) and flooded with lights (the neons of the bar), this HD transfer to the titanium compression delivers images engaging in sharp definition, bright colors (starting with the reds of course) and supported contrasts. Bonbon for the eyes!
SOUND – Immediate take-off
With a dynamic that flies at the slightest rise of the action (in particular the race-continuation in the clouds), atmospheric atmospheres all more enveloping each other (like the wind) and sustained basses, this sound track (encoded in DTS-HD MA 5.1) as generous as the visuals it accompanies delivers clear dialogues and is highlighted above all by a memorable score straight out of the 1980s.
CONCLUSION – ... the beginning of a trip
Jalonné d'images that would seem to come out of a poetic dream of Hot metal and rhythmic by a soundtrack with sprawling SF, this road trip in weightlessness is to follow without hesitation in Blu-ray!
Nyctalope like Riddick and with a very good hearing, I am ready to jump on physical editions and SVOD platforms. But if the quality isn't on the rendezvous, stop at the bite! #WeLovePhysicalMedia

serious? c'est une daube sans fin , il ne passe pas ds ce film , c'est d'un trouble totale
Oh yes! One of the best things that has happened to the French SF for a long time. You just didn't have to be receptive to the proposal, that happens.
[...] In the French style of Peaky Blinders, this western pop driven by the energy of the despair of her tarantine heroine (Alice Isaaz imposes with panache like the Beatrix Kiddo de Paname) masks the weaknesses of her screenplay (the sub-intrigues are barely touched, the revolutionary context sacrificed and the rebounds phoned) by her over-the-air staging, her whirlwind of violence, her beautiful band of actors (the charismatic leader Niels Schneider in « rockstar » his venous romanticism and his anachronistic reconstruction. Popular genre cinema that confirms the creative madness and unusual ambitions of Romain Quirot, the director « punk » already behind the singular Last Voyage. [...]
