WORK – Saving the World with Fisher Price Matos

A group of warriors and scientists must fight to protect and save the human race threatened by a hostile alien species with the ability to infect and become masters of the human body.

Sans-le-sou as a prod by Roger Corman, this galactic Z series in which Bruce Willis sadly sealed is a science-fictional action film under Prozac. Missing in wide widths, this big melting pot of stereotypes of the genre suffers from a scenario that starts in all directions, from an artistic direction that makes it hard to see (we talk about armor worthy of a bad cosplay?), from actors lost on the stage, from a staging that only has the name, from SFX that bites eyes and from tension to absent subscribers. Big movie stuff!

IMAGE – Custom LED Neon!

Since Brandon Cox's luminous and colourful photograph (a bit of a neon warehouse) is the only one that gets away with honours, it is not surprising that the image of this disc is overall superb, even if the plans at CGI are below the rest. But once is not customary, no comparison could be made with the Blu-ray since there is only a 4K Ultra HD within this edition.

With a few exceptions (from colour banding and a little tingling on rare planes) compression ensures, sharpness is always on the part, details are excellent (DI 4K obliges), colors are bright at will, contrast values are high (cf. the very good level of blacks) and lights benefit from high luminous intensity.

SON – Pfiou pfiou!

Clearly more demonstrative than the work, the soundtrack offers a powerful listening with committed dynamics, attractive spatialization, dialogues (which fly at the pâquerettes) of good intelligibility, ardent basses (does it well so that the weapons seem to have a minimum impact) and a wide score.

CONCLUSION – We're not leaving the stars anymore?

If it seems obvious that humanity did not need this space node, the courageous German publisher Dolphin Medien deserves all our praise for his sacrifice. Because if I can't decently advise you to buy, the Ultra HD Blu-ray remains no less of a certain quality!

Nyctalope like Riddick and with a very good hearing, I am ready to jump on physical editions and SVOD platforms. But if the quality isn't on the rendezvous, stop at the bite! #WeLovePhysicalMedia
