Awesome by an amazing fan of actors, A Case of Details revives with know-how the neo-black thriller of the 90 Seven). The investigation has happened, the atmosphere is sinister at will, the interpretation is impeccable, the staging is well thought out and the human relations highlighted. A sure value.

IMAGE – The glauque that gives style!

Captured in 8K and taking advantage of a DI 4K, the image of this Blu-ray does not suffer from any criticism and does not cease to magnify the twilight photo of the work.

Immersed in darkness, it manages to remain legible all the way. Compression never lowers arms, the details in the shadows are excellent, the definition honors the support, the deliberately faddy colors are eminently refined and the contrasts are attractive. How beautiful!

SON – The sounds of Los Angeles

A heavy and heavy atmosphere that the immersive soundtrack builds with a very controlled balance.

The voices are clear, the dynamics are comfortable, the effects are perfectly spatialised (see the illuminated use of the rear scene), the original score enjoys a strong presence and the LFE channel puts pressure during the most visceral passages.

Even if careful (dubbing is really very good), the little VF lacks biting in front of the VO.

CONCLUSION – The manipulation of a suspect

Despite the unfortunate absence of a 4K Ultra HD edition and a Dolby Atmos soundtrack (the original mix), it would be a shame to take away this technically unattackable edition that tease a horrible murder case!
