In 1789, a people entered revolution. History crosses the fates of men and women of the people, and historical figures. Their meeting place is the very young National Assembly. In the heart of history, there is the fate of the King and the rise of the Republic...
Not entirely at the height of the ambition displayed, the fault of a too-full of events that generates many ellipses (everything goes too fast), this historical fresco on the hully establishment of the Republic, which regularly síacoquine with the intimate drama fed by many characters, is a demanding work on public matter to the manic reconstruction, prestigious distribution and proper staging. For the history feruses, a true feast!
IMAGE – Losing your mind!
With a dreadful precision, this HD transfer with striking contrasts (darkness is driven by flames), sharp piqué and rich colors (varieties of ochre tones for the people and shades of blue for the monarchy) makes Julien Hirsch's sumptuous photography more alive than ever.
SON – People have things to tell us
Driven by dialogues and other oratory games that detach themselves with a great deal of realism, this multichannel soundtrack with a burning score also releases environmental atmospheres (the streets of Paris in 1789, the agitation at the National Assembly, the insurrections) which are not lacking in enthusiasm. In fact, immersion is royal!
