In the tranquillity of a suburb dozed by the Nordic summer, four children discover themselves amazing powers that they innocently summon in their games, far from the eyes of adults. As they explore their new skills in the surrounding forest and park, their distractions gradually take on a disturbing turn...
Between intimate chronicle and psychological thriller, this hypnotic supernatural fable that probes the darkness of childhood (young actors are very impressive) by the prism of a fantastic refusing to the spectacular, relies on a sensitive approach where tension is internalized to create a disturbing anxiety that goes crescendo. An icy jewel!

IMAGE – A dangerous playground
Having stopped magnifying the cold beauty of photography (which it owes to the chef op的 Sturla Brandth Grøvlen), this HD transfer where colors and lights radiate strangely to arouse fear, restores details to calculated sweetness and contrasts to skillful delicacy.
SON – Walling in silence
With a sound design that makes its small effect, this enveloping soundtrack (the slow-moving activity of a peaceful HLM city in summer) with some breath distils its clumsy atmosphere (cf. Pessi Levando's anxiogenic score) on all speakers, both front and back, not without distiling some very striking effects.
Even if more energetic, the VF suffers from much too much dubbing and less fine spatialization.
CONCLUSION – The Dream of the Four Fantastics?
Practicing the escalation of cruelty after experiencing good and evil, this seemingly innocent work will make you experience a strong emotional trauma that the present Blu-ray will be happy to increase!
