WORK – The Pine Identity
After being fired from the Navy, Harper joined a paramilitary organization to support his family. He went to Germany, with an elite team, as part of a mission to investigate a mysterious threat. But Harper finds himself alone and hunted, in the middle of Eastern Europe...
More focused on social (in palpable dramaturgy) than on action (where violence can explode without shouting), The Contractor is a thriller of pamphletary espionage (abandoned by the mother homeland) that plays with screenwriters of the genre and misleads the figure of the American hero.
IMAGE – Hide in Berlin
Neither as deep nor as bright as that resulting from the best UHD HDR10 transfers, this image that remains of quality (a few compressive coumacs near) is not much more attractive than that of its HD counterpart.
Not taking advantage of a significant increase in sharpness (which is really not missing in 1080p) if it is in the slightly increased finesse of detail during close-ups (especially on faces), it is only on the side of HDR and WCG technologies, though reserved, that the few differences appear.
The shades are therefore a little warmer with more confident primaries, the contrasts deliver barely more supplied blacks (cf. the night views during infiltration into the laboratory) and light sources, essentially sifted, slightly more expressive (the LED panels in the Marines' premises).
SON – It's not my war!
Never aggressive (even though the dynamics are excellent) and little on the demonstration (there is not the subject) except for two or three key moments, this DTS-HD MA 7.1 soundtrack, which does not touch on the atmospheres at the back or on the effects off-the-ground (more or less discreet), delivers well articulated dialogues at the front, a musical score full of relief and well round bass.
CONCLUSION – Released by his family...
Disillusioned by life, these soldiers who have been abandoned by the system will be able to help from the present 4K Ultra HD (attention to private paramilitary groups) to succeed in their professional conversion!
