WORK – Tiger and Dragon in Avengers
Shang-Chi will have to face a past that he thought he left behind when he is caught in the canvas of the mysterious organization of the ten rings.
If the script is sewn with white thread, this initiatory narrative at the heart of Chinese legends is a wu xia pian with Marvel sauce (which moves a little away from its formula without succeeding in s The staging is flirting (there is a real director with handlettes), the characters (including secondary) are very endearing, the sets are exotic (in its second part) and the action scenes (many and carved for martial arts) regularly memorable (the fight on the bus). Funny, spectacular and full of magic, this blockbuster that finds the right dosage is an unexpected surprise!
IMAGE – The legendary village of Ta Lo is here!
Fully exploit the increased brightness allowed by HDR10 technology (energy flashes, magic eruptions, neon signs), this even clearer UHD transfer (face privacy, clear background) that its HD counterpart also benefits from a more awake colorimetric palette (including greens, reds and golds) and more energetic contrasts (blacks are more threatening and whites more intense).
SON – Welcome to the Hotel California ♪♫
While spatialization is very expressive with a live surround scene at the possible (atmospheres you want) and multiple height effects (suspensions, flying creatures, throwing objects and/or weapons, bare-handed movements), the dynamics on the reserve and barely decent basses (impact of blows, engines, explosions) remind us that the syndrome « Dolby Atmouse » still exists at Disney and can resurrected at any time !.. Even if in this case, the Blu-ray's DTS-HD MA 7.1 soundtrack is even more flat.
Less « committed » even if well animated (without the air presence), the VF proposed in Dolby Digital Plus 7.1 delivers equally clear dialogues and a score removed (signed Joel P. West) at the welcome width.
CONCLUSION – It's your destiny!
Ideally stuck between Yin and Yang, the calligraphy of this fantasy « Sino-American » which dry bump benefits in 4K Ultra HD of an ink with the best properties!
Nyctalope like Riddick and with a very good hearing, I am ready to jump on physical editions and SVOD platforms. But if the quality isn't on the rendezvous, stop at the bite! #WeLovePhysicalMedia

Concerned with buying this blu-ray. I had it replaced by twice and always the same problem. Despite a configuration in Vf or Vo or German audio track, the film passes in Chinese with a French subtitle. All my other blurays have no anomalies.
