WORK – Suffering from a limp
After doing the unthinkable to cover up an accident, a corrupt cop sees his life swing when a mysterious witness starts sending him threats.
Remake Korean Success Hard Day of which he eluded black humour for « better » Mushrooming his game, this sharp and boary polar with a Frank Gastambide under pressure is unfortunately in a sub-regime... The hazardous installation and the unlikely situations being never counterbalanced, unlike its playful model, by any burlesque charge. Certainly effective, but far from the original!
IMAGE – One coffin for two
Always well lit and sharp, these images « cockroaches » delivered in Dolby Vision show an impressive level of detail, bright colours when they deign to appear (baudrouch balloons) and contrasts to proven modernity (blacks are extremely dense and bright whites as desired).
SON – Ripoux against rupoux
If the rear scene is only too little used in the context of narration (except for some echoes in the parking lot and shots), this Dolby Digital Plus 5.1 soundtrack can hit hard (good dynamics and supports subwoofer) when the action wraps up. As for the rest, the voices are strongly exuded by the power plant and the score does not release pressure.
Deprived of the verticality of the sound, this mixing requires however the activation of a DSP of virtualization during the passage to the hospital (cf. noises « Strange » from ventilation).
CONCLUSION – Fucking shit is just starting...
In the turmoil, this police lieutenant who is the victim of karma is saved in extremis from the worst possible problems thanks to Netflix's audio-video standards!

Blowing the hot and cold, Sans Repit is a half-tinted polar, much inferior to the Korean original that it remakes, but that manages to do the job by offering entertainment despite everything honest.But if you have the choice, watch the Korean version A HARD DAY, superior at all points, and even at the limit the version HK, PEACE BREAKER, that comes out with honors
I can only do more work and advise Hard Day then to a lesser extent the Peace Breaker with Aaron Kwok.
