Dated, this somewhat flaky HD copy (DNR and EE bits) and sprinkled with dirt (white dots and other scratches) would have deserved more care from MGMthe right holder.
The dive lacks biting (especially for a 35 mm capture of the leader op Edward Lachman) even if the fine details remain acceptable and the silver patina, variable from one plane to another, leaves room for a slight video noise to betray a narrow compression. However, the colorimetric palette dominated by pastel shades and flashy neons is well rendered (a saturation at the right time), and the contrasts maintain throughout a beautiful coherence (blacks rather deep and rather charming whites) for an exemplary readability, even in low light.

If it lacks energy, clarity (despite sufficient for dialogues) and depth, the well-distributed stereo VO DTS-HD MA 2.0 has only rare time damage (a handful of scratches) and has no breath. The effects, the soundtrack and the voices are balanced.
Presented in a mono dual, the VF DTS-HD MA 2.0 is as loud as it is choked. In addition, the volume of dubbing is too high. Unlike the American track, the generic opens on a music of the band The Chiffons and not on the iconic The Shoop Shoop Song (Its in His Kiss).
