WORK – The proletarians of space
An idealistic teenager, Cee accompanies his father in his daily space prospector, in search of scarce resources that they sell to powerful industrialists. When they are dispatched to the Green Moon, in search of a precious ore, Cee and her father see a unique opportunity to make a fortune and finally be able to lead the life they desire. But they are not alone in coveting this mine on this planet covered by a hostile jungle, and their quest gradually turns into a desperate quest for survival...
Best independent SF movie since Moon, Prospect is a visually daring minimalist survival that does not at any time make cheap. Without difficulty in bypassing his lack of means by an ingenious staging, he unfolds his simple story (surviving a hostile planet) but captivating by relying on well-characterized characters who evolve in a universe « out of the world » credible. A beautiful discovery.
IMAGE – Backvented Jungle
In the light years of its HD counterpart with pale, bleached images, this UHD HDR10 transfer from a real DI 4K (captation in 6K and 8K before a 100% 4K postproduction) is a wonder of all time.
Extremely detailed (cf. dust and fine particles) and provided with a wide colorimetric space (hoter shades) which considerably intensifies the colours (browns and greens of the forest), it benefits from improved contrasts (blacks are much richer) and from a violently increased brightness (the « sun » which shines through the trees, the projectors of some prospectors) to gain fabulously in dynamic image.
Strongly stylized, the rather unique photograph of the work is therefore truly expressed only with the 4K Ultra HD support.

Really excellent, this wide and dynamic mixing stands out especially by the manic care given to spatialization.
From the roaring of the space vehicle to the rustling of the leaves, it is a whole bunch of atmospheres that sanctify on all the speakers made available to it. In addition, this feeling of permanent space combines with a particularly well-ventilated score and unexpected low frequencies.
CONCLUSION – Space shuttle of opportunities?
Even if it's made with the means of the edge (of the low budget SF), this impressive human-sized western space is a major surprise whose aesthetics « Lo-fi Sci-fi » Typical of the 70s is magnified in Ultra HD Blu-ray. What are you waiting for to go to conquer the Green Moon?
