WORK – Game Over!
When the greatest champions of the Earth are called to fight the enemies of the Outworld, they must discover their true powers to save our planet from total annihilation.
Badly played and « armed » This new film adventure, based on the iconic video game franchise, is just a pretext for a chain of violent batons (the wild fatalities are part of the game) under the guise of fan-service (replics including cults). Nothing else under the hemoglobin (which flows) in short, especially as this martial arts movie is just a prologue that prepares the tournament!
IMAGE – Blood and executions
If this UHD HDR10 transfer does not suffer from any injury, it eventually does not make any difference with its HD counterpart!
Because yes, the Blu-ray is already equipped with an excellent definition that does not weaken, beautiful saturated colors and solid contrasts that remain all the way along while a large part of the action is turned in environments (outside as well as inside) with little light.
There are of course improvements here as finer details (on costumes and decors in particular), a more nuanced colorimetric palette (blues and yellows) where the blood splashes more the screen and light sources a brighter tantinet (Raiden's flashes, Liu Kang's fire balls, Kano's laser eye), but the gap remains tenuous.
SON – In the absence of Sindel...
Ample and well distributed, the soundtrack Dolby Atmos does not do in lace!
Effects such as atmospheres are striking and move agility from one speaker to another, the rumblings of the LFE channel are fantastic and the verticality of the sound never fails to intervene during confrontations (magic powers, weather, the hat of Kung Lao, etc.). However, undermixed voices force to play zapette.
Less powerful and precise (not to mention the loss of the air scene), the French soundtrack (private from an HD mix) did not have to suffer from back-up dialogues (and dubbing is rather good).
CONCLUSION – Crushing victory?
Even if it may happen to him to slip on a puddle of blood, this restart of Mortal Kombat Should satisfy fans of the video series... And as long as you do, in 4K Ultra HD to rule out any risk of defeat. Get Over Here!
Nyctalope like Riddick and with a very good hearing, I am ready to jump on physical editions and SVOD platforms. But if the quality isn't on the rendezvous, stop at the bite! #WeLovePhysicalMedia

The solo campaigns of the last two games are so much cooler question directed like "scenario".
Absolutely.
Hello!
In fact, I found the direction not very inspired at first and then it improved well afterwards (just like the rest of the film that I enjoyed quite well)!
Anyway on the technique I totally agree!
Good Wolf test!
Thanks Roro. 😉
There are some very good fatalities I find but we stay on his hunger question rhythm. And it would be worth it unless you take yourself seriously sometimes, or instead, you're going to go straight to a crash.
