WORK – Dumb and Dumber TV
Daniel, a failed singer, is going to lose his housing and job at the VAS of a home appliances store. When he discovers that Stéphane, a naïve and pretentious colleague, knows the amount of all the devices on the shelf, he decides to use him to participate in the TV game "The Prize at any Prize", win 100,000 € and finally find themselves in the spotlight. So yes, all opposing them, no, it won't be any rest, but Daniel and Stéphane are full of resources.
Against the background of cathode-ray satire, the Palmashow trubillons signed with their second film a funny and benevolent social comedy with perfectly diluted humour, where « participate » two bleak attachments « without hindrance ». And without a real staging, this ode full of tenderness to the marginals is always sincere in its proposal.
IMAGE – The factory of « Celebrities »
None « penalty » cannot be applied to this HD transfer whose definition (motivated), details (abundant), colors (audicious) and contrasts (supported) celebrate the beautiful images of Op-Chief Sébastien Cros.
SON – Pile, pile? Hair!
Without « eliminate » the backstage, surprisingly very present (the audience during television shows), this soundtrack that makes « win » dialogues surprise when musical passages use a wide dynamic range.
CONCLUSION – The kings of parody?
Making (again) its cinema, the Palmashow crucifies the small cynical world of television in a comedy ready to « touch the big lot » Blu-ray!
