WORK – Let the hunt begin!
In 2000, under a totalitarian regime, hunting « deviant » is open. Whether you are barely suspected of prostitution, or if you speak too freely, you will be entitled to the rehabilitation camp. On the settlement program: torture sessions, sadistic guards and even manhunt organization.
Haletant and bloody, this classic of Ozploitation (rehabilitated by Quentin Tarantino during the promotion of Kill Bill) is a putassière B series where the futuristic political satire (despite far from the ambitious dystopia that she planned to be before a last-minute budget amputation) mixes with an over auction of violence... As if the George Orwell of 1984 came to cross Count Zaroff's path!

If this is the presence of small dirt (white dots) and a somewhat versatile clarity (due to the capture and integration of stock-shots), this HD transfer from a serious restoration is very convincing.
Live and detailed as much as possible, these images with controlled granularity display well saturated colours (blue sky, yellow combinations) and contrasts never taken in default.
SON – Indicate yourself!
Monophonic, this soundtrack encoded in DTS-HD MA benefits from music with the dominant synth (composed by Brian May) without offering bold atmospheres. Dialogues are clear and the effects deliberately exaggerated.
Deaf and lightened with many effects, VF obviously does not make the weight especially that it must endure an easily audible breath. And while it remains of quality with its memorable replicas, the dubbing is stifled.
CONCLUSION – The revolution begins with the marginals
For those who want to get out of the totalitarian system set up, this Blu-ray is ready to take up arms!. Like the very interesting supplements (starting with the contemporary interviews) that complete this very beautiful edition.
