This historic drama, which is a powerful counter-obscurantism and a fervent defender of women's rights, is in line with our times and defends the status of women by denouncing misogyny, abuse of power and persecution. Multi-primed in Spain and wildly ambitious, he gives a remarkably written picture where the baroque virtuosity of the staging comes « release » young girls on fire (unsolicited to the desire of men), welded by suffering, until a hypnotizing bacchanal final night. Fascinating and militant from end to end!
