WORK – What a family!
In an old and gloomy mansion lives the Addams family, whose members, all crazier and delusional, look more like dead than alive...
In 2019, the most macabre 7th Art family opened the doors of its sinister mansion in a mechanical but monstrously crazy animated film. In 2021, she played opportunists in a lazy road movie, where the irreverent evil spirit of Addams gave way to a succession (too) bewildered by potache gags reserved for a childish audience.

Quasi- copies with rare compressive traces near (a strand of colour banding on the transfer of the 1st film), these images delivered in 4K HDR10 do not fail to appear... Especially since the animators of Cinesite Animation have improved well in a few years (great technical effort on the 2nd).
The definition is optimal, the pique d ́a great precision, the colorimetric palette « spectral » vivacious at will, vigorous contrasts (cf. the hold of blacks) and bright light sources. And if it's already hard to blame anything at Blu-rays, say that the 4K Ultra HD goes even further with greater precision (the backgrounds release details) and a more fervent perception of photography (between bursting colors and nitescence lights).
SON – A Thing with Snoop Dogg!
With an energy and a back presence that have « under the cape », these agitated sound tracks of nature are more alive than ever.
Perfectly enveloping and punchy as soon as it shakes behind the screen (often so), they use many multi-directional effects to animate the eccentric adventures of this Addams family « new look », without neglecting the (belle) restitution of the voices and the scale of the music.
CONCLUSION – Happy to find them?
Invented in 1938 by Charles Addams, this funny family about the monstrous is back... In animation this time! And for those who love The Thing, it is on the 4K Ultra HD editions that you have to get your hands on.
