WORK – Superman... The Man of Terror!
The story takes place on an alternative Earth where the Joker trapped Superman to kill Lois Lane, which led the hero into a black anger. This wild Superman decides to take control of the Earth for his own good, which leads Batman and his allies to try to stop him.
Carefully designed (whether or not one likes angular drawings to muscular characters) and well executed (despite a hasty end), this adaptation full of action, drama, violence and darkness does not hold up his blows!

Even though the graphic style from a more brief point of view does not really lend itself to major improvements to Blu-ray (details are barely clearer), this 4K Ultra HD uses better compression and the benefits of HDR technology to deepen the difference.
The colour banding is thus reduced to making two-plane figurative (while it abounds in HD), the colors have more punch (primary are brighter and deeper) and the light sources cross the screen with an increased shine (Kryptonite toxin, dimmed lighting from the naughty bar and the Arkham Asylum, explosions).
SON – The Age of Fear
More loaded at the front than at the back while the surround scene is active when certain events demand it (such as the inaugural destruction), the VO encoded in DTS-HD MA 5.1 is never without striking effects (especially during body-to-body fighting). The dialogues are clear, the score is effective and the bass are competent (see the rave party scene).
Less extensive but carefully doubled, the VF(F) sounds pretty good.
CONCLUSION – The « Civil War » DC?
Apocalyptic, this confrontation due to disagreements and other tensions between superheroes is even more painful (and bloody) in Ultra HD Blu-ray!
