WORK – The reincarnation of « Highlander »
To prevent the destruction of the planet by an evil brain, a schizophrenic joins a secret group of warriors with a precise memory of their past life. He then goes in search of answers in his memory...
Freely adapted from the novel The Reincarnationist Papers by D. Eric Maikranz, this thriller of science fiction unfortunately overshadows its potential (very tempting though) and is only too little interested in its characters. But technically neat and armed with (well orchestrated) action scenes that capture attention, this generic blockbuster stands out as an honest entertainment.

Visually fantastic, this UHD Dolby Vision transfer consolidates the characteristics of the very good Blu-ray.
The frame becomes more precise with an excess of definition and a refinement of textures (faces and decors), the cold colors are more nuanced and realistic (the carnation is warmer), the ultra-modern contrasts are solidified (deeper blacks and more intense whites) and the light sources, in addition to acquiring precision in the high luminances (explosions, the light of the day that crosses the windows), are displayed with a strongly boosted radiance (reflections on the bodyshells and weapons, neon lighting).
SON – The rebirth of energy
Powerful and extremely well spatialized, this first-order Dolby Atmos soundtrack delivers a powerful dynamic as possible, a score that does not lack punch, effects and/or atmospheres that fuse on all sides (including high-rise scenes), a bass box with formidable efficiency and dialogues of great clarity, whether or not it goes far from everywhere.
Less extensive and immersive, the French track proposed in Dolby Digital 5.1 remains no less fierce.
CONCLUSION – What to learn from his previous lives?
While the hero belonging to the Beliefs has difficulty putting order in his memories, the present 4K Ultra HD, at the top of its shape, could help him recover the memory!

Infinite is a blockbuster of flat action. After his successful introduction scene, he doesn't seem to know what to do with his initial postulate and simmer in a series of inconsistencies and script holes. One of Antoine Fuqua's worst films.
