WORK – Taking flight
Sam Wilson, a.k.a. Falcon, and Bucky Barnes, the Winter Soldier, are embarking on an adventure around the world that will put their resources – and their patience – to the test...
While it takes over the more classic formula of the MCU where WandaVision was generally freed, this second mini-series stamped Marvel goes a little further than most of the saga's films.
As much as buddy moves to the sympathetic characters very well incarnated on the screen as thriller with suspense at stakes land to earth, she makes a remarkable incursion into the field of politics (there is talk of civil wars, refugees and racial interrogations) and explores, between several action scenes that do not lack of punch, the psychology of her superheroes (after mourning, legacy!) and her own! « Wicked » (victims carried by motivations that make sense). A great success that opens new paths for the future!

From the first to the last second, the quality of this UHD Dolby Vision transfer does not weaken... A few compressive traces (do not forget that we are dealing with a streaming video service).
The precision, surgical as possible, makes it possible to appreciate the details (and some CGI sometimes visible) at the four corners of the wide frame, the beautifully nuanced colors have peps and flatter the primaries (reds and fantastic blues), the contrasts appear as modern to wish (bright whites and abyssal blacks) for night scenes with perfect legibility, and the bright zones, with a beautiful shine, are well capped.
SON – Balloons, jokes, explosions, etc.
On the side of the Atmos soundtrack, apart from the fact that composer Henry Jackman continues to be interested in the world of Captain America (which he carefully prolongs), we are in the presence of an action-oriented mix.
Energetic what it takes and always immersive (the surrounding canals are at the party), it accompanies the most laid moments like the most enlivened passages without originality but with great confidence... Even though bass, Disney production requires, are not as impacting as the images they accompany.
Less enveloping (the vertical component that benefits from Falcon's aerial voltiges no longer) and suffering from voices with risky integration, the VF is not up to the ambitions of the project.
CONCLUSION – Cap is Back!
Under the aegis of action and introspection, this (re)birth of a hero who agrees to become the symbol of a country that does not deal with it at its fair value is all the stronger with the winning duo (Vision/Atmos) from Dolby!
