WORK – Family Burnout!
In a mysterious place nestled in the heart of Colombia's mountains, the fantastic Madrigal family lives in an enchanted house in a city full of life, a wonderful place called Encanto. Each of the children in the family has a magical faculty ranging from superhuman strength to healing power. Only Mirabel received no special gift. But when the magic of the Encanto is threatened, the only ordinary child of this extraordinary family may prove to be their only hope...
If Mexico Coco (at Pixar) inspired its authors more than the present Colombia, this exotic musical (the change of scenery is total) and overflowing energy (the songs make you want to dance) reconciles the family (metissed) at the heart of a permanent visual fireworks. The recipe (of grandmother) Disney is certainly known, but it still remains as tasty!

Above its HD counterpart without using witchcraft (we are in the improvement and not the transformation), this prestigious UHD HDR10 transfer really looks great.
The image gains a little in clarity and refinement (cf. the increased sharpness of the Casita textures or even the small imperfections on the faces), the colorimetric palette rejoices with a great vivacity (the saturation of the yellows, oranges, reds, greens, blues and violets speaks of itself), the contrasts that discreetly darken the frame add depth to the blacks (for better immersion in the weakly lit places) and of the brightness to the whites (the clouds are more cottony), and the light sources receive a flash of light (the manifestations of magic illuminate the screen).
SON – The Cumbia of the Family
Very lively (the score is diffused with a lot of width) and enjoying a playful spatialisation (the aerial scene knows how to celebrate – rain, sand, thunder, cracks, parrot -), this 3D soundtrack with multichannel engagement of every moment (the surrounding channels are unleashed) nevertheless lacks magnitude (the dynamics do not loose) despite a subwoofer that has more strength (even if the response at the bottom of the spectrum remains limited) than the tracks « Dolby Atmouse » which is preceded.
Not too « Fun » Because more in spatial restraint, the least engaged VFQ (in dialogues) is sometimes embarrassed when it comes to the lyrics of many songs (the same as our Parisian version) to drown in music.
CONCLUSION – Magic is there...
By consolidating the foundations of this colorful and magical fable that gives voice (the 60th « classic animation » The 4K Ultra HD will quickly make you fall under the charm of this small mountain village in Colombia!
