Ranked R, this cinematographic adaptation of the most legendary of the FPS is a futuristic series B raw formwork that prefers emptying its chargers than studying quantum mechanics. The atmosphere of the 3rd game is there, like the stereotyped marines that dezinguing the sticky monster. And if the scenario has been forgotten on Earth, this is not the case of a subjective passage of the most beautiful effect. SF all in muscles where subtlety has become the trunk.
IMAGE – The Hell Lab
Finding its 35 mm texture and sharpness, the image takes full advantage of the contribution of 4K resolution (cf. the increased firmness of the uniforms and the control screens) while enriching with a better saturated colorimetric palette (the carnation, the primary) where the greys hunt the old blue drift, denser contrasts (another depth of the blacks) and so enhanced light sources (lighting of laboratories and corridors) that they can become blinding. A good thing to counter the ambient darkness, much more overwhelming (without eclipsing the details) than in CSD.
For information, while a light rear zoom has been applied on almost 95% of the scenes, the first person shooting sequence is tightened (hence the removal of a point).
SON – BADABOUM!
The VO DTS:X is a bounty that is conducive to a series of effects.It is a journey of creatures and projectiles (not just of the BFG) in an aggressive sound activity that causes the watts to burst.
The dynamics are striking, the inspection of the premises is the opportunity to swing noises from everywhere (such as steam coming from pipes in height), the shootings vigorously exploit all channels and bass, even if filtered in comparison with the previous runway DTS-HD MA 5.1, shake as it should.
Less furious, the small VF has neither ardour nor the spatial accuracy of its 3D consœur.
CONCLUSION – Game Over?
When Hell arrives at home, there's no doubt that a superhuman 4K Ultra HD will help you get out alive!
