WORK – Capitalism of blood
A mysterious scourge fell on Earth, transforming the majority of the world's population into vampires. Humans are only a small minority, maintained solely to feed the dominant species. Edward Dalton is a vampire who decides to save the last specimens of men by joining the resistance. He will find himself at the center of an absolute confrontation whose stake will decide the future of the two species...
Directed by craftsmen visibly in love with the genre, Daybreakers is a fantastic film rhythmic, gore and inventive that is not without recalling the B series of the 90s.
The presented universe is very rich (a future controlled by blood suckers), the myth of vampires is revisited with sincerity and great originality (the degenerates), the script is dense, the interpretations are of quality, the SFX are convincing and the action scenes, as striking as they are bloody (the final one in particular), are mastered.
And even though it is unfortunately too short to develop the whole properly, fans of the genre and fans of « True » vampires should find themselves there.

Strongly stylized, the unsaturated images of the work fully benefit from WCG and HDR.
The blacks are of an abyssal depth, the contrasts are more sustained, the colorimetric palette with even colder shades is rigorously transcribed and the light sources are exposed with more life (light of the day, interior lighting, flames, gyrophars).
But if the light grain is now more homogeneous, the details are less advanced than on the Blu-ray (!), which has the consequence of « Age » The aspect of (beautiful) photography.
SON – Interview with a vampire
Drawing as much on the spatialised effects/ambiences with generosity (the activity around is excellent) as on the always audible dialogues, this mix Dolby Atmos immersive and energetic (the dynamics a of punch and the bass are omnipresent) offers which is more a vertical activity far from being annoyed (fires, explosions, bats and voices).
CONCLUSION – Vampire Survival Guide
As a human struggling for survival, it may well be that the present 4K Ultra HD is an antidote to the virus coming from the bat!
