WORK – A meeting can change everything

A young Finnish woman takes a train to Moscow to visit an archaeological site in the Arctic Sea. She's forced to share her compartment with a stranger. This cohabitation and improbable encounters will gradually bring these two beings closer together.

A magnificent humanity, this intimist and unusual railway romance at the borders of Russia picks the spectator without shouting out for his tenderness of every moment, his desire elsewhere, as well as the play of his two protagonists « prisoners » of their emotional wanderings... Until this unexpected encounter, in a cabin that will shelter the birth of feelings!

IMAGE – On the tracks

Cold first (to better illustrate the emotional precariousness of the characters) then gradually warm as the approach approaches « High speed » the Arctic Sea, the sumptuous photograph of the work is meticulously reproduced by this HD transfer... Until the imposing granularity that envelops its actors in a darkness that belongs only to them; where a definition is then withdrawn.

Outside these « Judgments » Hypnotic, the images are precise with a nice pique (especially on close-up), a natural colorimetric palette made of rare but exquisite sunlight, and delicately velvety contrasts.

SON – Travel, travel ♪♪

The nuance, subtlety and a multichannel opening that amazes (the rolling of the train which « whistle » on all channels accompanies the audience during 3/4 of the session) for a soundtrack perfectly marrying this vaporous journey. Obviously, the dialogues (French dubbing is excellent) are remarkably exuded by the power station.

CONCLUSION – Little run away at the end of yourself

This one way for Murmansk in a second-class car is an upsetting escape through snowy Russia of the 90s that Blu-ray Disc, just « InYes », upgrade to first class!

Nyctalope like Riddick and with a very good hearing, I am ready to jump on physical editions and SVOD platforms. But if the quality isn't on the rendezvous, stop at the bite! #WeLovePhysicalMedia
