The Charlies Angels have always ensured the safety of their customers thanks to their extraordinary skills. The Townsend agency has now expanded its activities internationally, with the smartest, most reckless, and best trained women from around the world – multiple Charlies Angels teams facing the most perilous missions, each guided by its own Bosley.

Some Mission: Impossible 100% (or almost) female, this new adaptation of the cult series Funny ladies. is a light action comedy (it does not take itself seriously) where the leading trio, charming and detonating (especially Kristen Stewart), constitutes the major asset. Efficacy even if generic (scenario agreed, staging without soul and already-seen action scenes), this fun and engaged entertainment where one does not bore one minute is truly pleasant to follow.

Clearly more detailed and clean than those of Blu-ray (less sharp and louder), the images of this UHD HDR10 transfer certified IMAX Enhanced are impressive despite random stock-shots and much softer plans (but it's the same in HD).

In addition to much deeper pop colours (the dresses) and natural (the tones of flesh), much more pronounced contrasts (healthier whites and firmer blacks) and more intense light sources (the day scenes are bathed in sun) that seem to shine in the light of the sun. « 1000 watts » (lights at the party).

As a result, the visuals of the work undoubtedly have more impact on the present 4K Ultra HD.

Delivered in IMAX DTS:X, the VO mix has for it a roundness, acoustic richness and a back presence (quite incredible) that give the permanent feeling of being immersed in the heart of events. Balanced and very well spatialized (horizontal), it deploys finely studied atmospheres and particularly lively effects whose presence is intended to be most realistic.

Nevertheless, this soundtrack is penalized by a dynamic on restraint and low-impact bass (the pyrotechnics are not very physical), except when the score is spread (a great extent) where they wake up. Deception also on the side of the high channels, since they are used only once (!) during a shot.

Registered at a higher level, the small VF(Q) is impressive given its stature (DD 5.1) because it is equally enveloping even if a little less precise.
