Exposed in all its detail through a UHD Dolby Vision transfer to solid encoding, this 4K restoration « house » from the original negatives 35 mm does justice to the craspec photography of Jean-Claude Couty.
The image is perfectly stable, the master is exemplary cleanliness (one escapes from the dreads of time such as parasitic dusts and other white wandering dots), the silveric texture very granular in low light is preserved (and better transcribed than on the Blu-ray) and the piqué, usually in good shape (except for the sweets in the weakly lit wild night), even more on the scabrous details (less precise in 1080p).
The relatively neutral colour palette displays with much more realism (primary, carnation), the dark scenes are much more legible (thanks to better kept blacks) and the high lights, omnipresent in the night streets of the capital (urban lighting), broadcast with better control.

While these are small reservations about certain dissonances most certainly due to the taking of his era (a sometimes audible breath, lines of dialogue episodicly rough), this balanced 2.0 soundtrack remains committed to listening.
Never saturated in its acutes, very rarely deaf in its rendering and sufficiently large, it also provides voices globally clear at the same time as it delivers, not without energy, its effects as well as the music composed by Leo Carrier.

In a nightly sex-loving Paris populated by big-calibre supporters, this watchful-movie rapper is cleaning up by spreading her violence and naked bodies within a determined 4K Ultra HD (a/V services that are not afraid of anything or anyone) that had no need to tapin to sell!
