WORK – Revenge is accompanied by good foaming
A man is escaping from prison to avenge those who have made him a ruthless killer...
A veritable English-style bum-pif sent by Scott Adkins with a burried face, this particularly brutal B-series old school action is a flood of wild batons made legible by a striking staging. It's slamming!
IMAGE – Tatane in your face!
If it can happen to him to let himself go to a few « bar strokes », this UHD HDR10 transfer from a DI 4K impresses... Sometimes too much!
The piqué is enhanced with more revealing details (innumerable wounds will cause you to suffer), images imbue with enriched colors (neon during the club sequence) and contrasts make even less in the half measure (black levels thus gain in robustness where the whites are otherwise brighter).
But here, the overall brightness is a little too dazzling (cf. the inscriptions at the inaugural credits) and the scene of the club, despite a more solid compression, seems as difficult to restore as in Blu-ray with a large replay of video noise.
SON – I ♪♪♪
Strongly action-oriented, this soundtrack proposed in DTS-HD MA 5.1 hurts, very badly!
Rhythmed by a strong electronic score, it delivers dialogues with what it takes to be clear while deploying a realistic spatialization (the atmospheres of the prison) and a muscular dynamic where blows (with fists, feet and rifles) hit hard... It must also be said that the bass have a lot of weight.
CONCLUSION – Time to go to the pub?
If you appreciate the physical and martial skills of its star actor, who by passing n And it's good, it's his tour!
