The tragic death of their younger brother in troubled circumstances, will in a few hours turn the life of a sibling into chaos.
A twilight-style exercise conceived as a great tragedy-molotov that n'assens no truth (no social study or political message) and chooses to « Look » The fate of three brothers who tear themselves apart. And governed by a unit of place (a suburbs) and time (one night), this technical tower of force (delusional plans-sequences) on the background of riot restores chaos with a rare fury to remind us better that violence only generates violence. With his imagery « pyromaniac », this photograph full of emphasis should have blazed on a cinema screen. But if not, this UHD Dolby Vision transfer manages to transcribe the visual slam that is Athena with very little clinging.
Apart from a compression which must (many) fight in the ambient darkness and/or through the smoke, there is nothing to say about this strong graphic proposal to the optimal definition, to the pique worthy of praise, to the vindicative colorimetric palette (the fumigants), to the realistic blacks and to the light sources (the fireworks) unleashed.
SON – Little brother
At the rhythm of permanent explosions and a lyrical requiem to Gregorian choirs, this mesmerizing soundtrack is an acoustic storm of all time.
The mortars do not lack impact, the dynamic is very energetic, the inhabitants of the City as the police presence squat the backs and the height scene knows how to be heard when the narration demands it (a real « competition » pyrotechnics).
As of course, a better flow rate (on physical media for example) would have allowed even greater power (the LFE channel seems to keep under the elbow) and the release of certain atmospheres (more details in short).
CONCLUSION – My 6-T is at war
In order to plunge us into the depths of this (Greek) urban tragedy, the streaming service Netflix It's really not easy on the means (Dolby Vision + Dolby Atmos) with robust A/V services. A Molotov to govern them all?
