WORK – Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas
Taking advantage of a zombie attack in Las Vegas, a group of mercenaries is making the crazy bet to venture into the quarantine area to try the most spectacular robbery of all time.
Where Ocean acoquine with The Territory of the Dead that gives Army of the Dead, from the big bourrin and raw de-forming show in which a fine team with big muscles (a casting at the top) will have to face up to « zombies » extremely fierce to succeed in the break of the century. Full of defects (photographs, lengths and facilities are there) but « apocalyptically » fun, this entertainment where the blood flow turns out to be a bit crazy exploitation of the great myth of horror. Do yourself a favor, it's for!

To make it simple, photography is ugly! The colors are dull, the contrast range is limited and the blacks (which can shoot at the green) smell the corpse. In short, Dolby Vision encoding cannot revive what is dead. But there's worse...
Because of a questionable aesthetic choice (from the blur-plated motion to all-va), the sandy streets of Vegas have no prospect! Because by deliberately using a digital blur that forces us to look at what concerns the director, the depth of field is non-existent. Moreover, the piqué is very soft and many textures are horribly smoothed.
And to finish digging his grave, many white dots (pixels dead on the sensor) and compressive problems (of the bulldozer) invite from there to burial.
SON – Agonizing « Scream Queen »
Not as dynamic as expected (thanks to the compression), the Dolby Atmos mixing (in VO and VF) remains no less powerful and spaced as soon as the action points the tip of its nose.
Dialogues are clear, atmospheric atmospheres are well used and pyrotechnic effects are sufficiently striking. The surrounding scene is also regularly active and 3D sounds, even if more periodic, do not let count (explosions, helicopters, etc.).
CONCLUSION – Skip the bank!
Zombiesque earth bracing eager for pop culture, Army of the Dead Unfortunately, it is being played « Death » because its visual outfit, even if rather unique, the dessert!
