WORK – My neighbor is a witch!
After the separation of his parents, a rebellious teenager is sent to his father for the summer to gain maturity and discipline. His problems worsen when he makes a frightening discovery about the family of his neighbours. A malicious mind has taken over parents and now attacks children...
If she does not invent anything and does not escape some clichés of the genre, this tasty indecent B series with surprising frontal horror effectively removes the myth of the witch.
IMAGE – Who is walking in the woods?
Despite the absence of HDR (the reflections are no more dynamic) and WCG, the image clearly surpasses its HD counterpart.
With better encoding (the Blu-ray's weaknesses have disappeared), it delivers otherwise more precise details (DI 4K obliges) and surprisingly, benefits from higher contrasts and more flourishing colors.
SON – The evil spirits of nature
Widely exploit the strange sounds associated with witchcraft, this carefully spaced mixing of its basses (deep) and its atmospheres (murmured) to scare properly.
CONCLUSION – Something took over you...
Be careful! Unlike children abducted by his folk creature, this horror film strongly recommended by Sam Raimi will not be forgotten... Especially since the present 4K Ultra HD has found the (magic) formula for the spell (possession) to operate over time.
