WORK - Revenge travel
Forced to drive a mysterious passenger under the threat of a weapon, a man finds himself caught in a risky game of cat and mouse where appearances are misleading.
Not very original but punctuated with many twists (never free), this road movie on a background of revenge, electrified by the hallucinated performance of aNicolas Cage(face to one)Joel Kinnamanto the welcome sobriety), presents itself as aCollateralSeries B (all straight out of the 90s) pleasantly cynical and visually neat where psychological confrontation (with slow burning) that is played draws a real little tension. Even so far from being unforgettable, this modest thriller signedYuval Adleris quite recommendable.

IMAGE - Night road
Despite the absence of HDR technology, this UHD transfer remains no less impressive and clearly exceeds the very mediocre Blu-ray (normally soft and barred compression artifacts as soon as fog or smoke comes) embedded in the edition.
The encoding is much better (an average bitrate of 87.4 Mbit/s) despite the furtive presence of a little color banding in the night sky, fine details gain considerably in precision (face features, clothes), the already particularly bold colorimetric palette benefits (without even exploiting the WCG) from a refined saturation (cf. the carnation and interior of the Roadhouse Diner) and contrasts, very contemporary, display deep blacks (without excesses) with certain uniformity and light sources with obvious vivacity (reflections of urban lighting on the body).
SON - The Rolling Cage
Immersive environmental effects and perfectly intelligible frontal dialogues (« Nick » chain the monologues) are the engine of this soundtrack more nuanced than inside where the tense atmosphere is well restored by the speakers.
Dynamics get angry (gunshots) and bass hit during rare action scenes, surround channels work all along (vehicle in motion) and score dIshai Adar, which does not fail to envelop, mixes properly with the different components of the mixing.

In order to avoid the breakdown of fuel, this night trip fully acquired in the cause of the « Devil » Cage will not leave you on the roadside in 4K Ultra HD (rolling A/V services)... So, are you going up?
