After two films by Tom Cruise, novelist Lee Child's hero returns to the small screen via Premium Video, and replaces the star of Mission impossible by Alan Ritchson. Lovers of finesse and contemplative scenes, you can already pass your way, because Jack Reacher did not come here to butter toast!

Between two breakages of arms and other patellas, the story of this former special forces being at the heart of an investigation in the small town of Margrave, aligns its quota of clichés: from the black cop transferred into a paumé bled filled with rednecks to the young flick who will eventually fall the very (too) big arms of the hero, passing through the rotten politicians to the bone.
The main frame does not breathe originality but at the time when any actor can boast of being a star action in two strokes of protein shakers, it is nice to see a real golgoth (Alan Ritchson, the ex Aquaman in the series Smallville, Hawk in the series Titans and Raphael in Ninja Turtles produced by Michael Bay) snuggle local scum.
