New Life closed the 2024 edition of the Gérardmer festival with a certain panache. Jessica Murdock is a woman on the run despite her. A desperate escape from the authorities with only one goal: the Canadian border. Trapped by Elsa Gray, a former cop who became a mercenary, Jessica sees the confrontation inevitably coming closer. By opting for a surprising parallelism between the two women thanks to the highlighting of fictitious disease and the very real one of Charcot disease, New Life is very different from conventional pandemic films. Closer to his victims, the film is a good B series marked by a photograph that would not deny the game The Last of Us. Despite his qualities, this first feature film by Josh Rosman, however, divided us because of some biases too agreed.

Criticism of New Life

JV critic and film always ready to lead Interviews at festivals! Amateur of genre films and everything that tends to the strange. Do not hesitate to contact me by consulting my profile.

Nyctalope like Riddick and with a very good hearing, I am ready to jump on physical editions and SVOD platforms. But if the quality isn't on the rendezvous, stop at the bite! #WeLovePhysicalMedia
