We continue our video-ludic journey by a Polish game, Dying Light 2 developed by the Techland studio. Always expected on firm feet after some unfortunate postponements, the franchise has affirmed creative ambitions. While we had in the past had the opportunity to interview Tymon Smektala, lead game designer of the game, about the narrative, this one returns for the Gamescom 2021 with dedicated episodes videos, the opportunity to recall that the Dying Light 2 project is alive! The "narrative sandbox" quesaco?

On the menu of this new episode, let us recall the topos: hordes of infected cross vampires, still unloved by the sunbathing, of the urban path that would not be denied by Mirrors Edge, a city torn by three rival factions and fighting to the first particularly violent person. The post-apocalyptic formula is now evolving towards the promise of « narrative sandbox » according to the formula dedicated by the developers. Each of your contributions to the various factions will necessarily serve others. Helping the peacekeepers will allow you to get clean water to regenerate yourself. Prioritizing their rivals and it will be cannabis fields and anarchy that will triumph in return. The rarity creating wealth, to you the bakchichs and pots of wines every liter water cleverly distributed to the thirsty of the neighborhood.
