Somewhere in the Alps, in the 1970s, Jeanne left the orphanage and joined the city. The young teenager wanders and finds refuge on a cinema plateau, where she gradually slips into the decor, until she becomes a part of this adaptation of the famous tale of Andersen: The Snow Queen. She then entered into a complex relationship with the queen's interpreter, played by Marion Cotillard. The Ice Tower was awarded the H.R. Giger Narcisse Prize at NIFFF. We exchanged with her director, Lucile Hadžihalilović, and Clara Pacini, dazzling in this first magnetic role. A tale in a mirror where the poison is distilled slowly... A film to see today at the cinema!
