A bitter-sweet comedy about old age and its place in society, the film unfortunately suffers from a slow pace and too timid comedic situations despite the talent of the two companions (who no longer have anything to prove in this field). Dreyfuss gets the best out through a touching humorist character who will find a reason to get up in the morning other than swallow his dose of medication.
