In the heart of summer 2011, two children, Tony and Noah, race from the top of a cliff to the fantastic drama that will change their lives forever... Ten years later, the two now grown brothers crossed the road to Cassandre, a childhood friend. First film by Simon Rieth, Our ceremonies highlights the raw period of adolescence through brotherly duel and love tinted rivalry. We propose an interview of the FEFFS of Simon Rieth, accompanied by the two main actors, Raymond and Simon Baur. Far from bourgeois naturalism of a film like The life of Adele, Our ceremonies is all the more touching as it recalls an authentic echo of the real. Release scheduled for May 3, 2023!
Born in 1995 in Paris, Simon Rieth grew up in Montpellier. At the age of 26, he has already made six short films, including Saint Jean (2017) and Marave Challenge (2019), all of which have been selected and rewarded in many festivals. His first feature film, Our Ceremonies, was presented last year at Critical Week. MaG met at the FEFFS in Strasbourg last autumn.
