Refusing death to separate them, a couple decided to test revolutionary technology to safeguard human consciousness. With a rather classic synopsis, Shalini Ushadevi managed to transform the essay. Second feature film by Shalini Ushadevi, Ennennum marks her director's second appearance at NIFFF in International Competition! In 2012, she presented to Neuchâtel Akam, a disturbing psychological thriller, shot with a very small budget, in which a young architect starts to doubt the human nature of his wife. Awarded in the meantime by the best scenario price in India for its co-scenarization of Soorarai Pottru (2020), the director, screenwriter and producer ofEnnenum 12 years later, we have a new look at love and relationships through the lens of genre cinema.
