Despite the mysterious power outage that occurred on the last day of the festival, your Canois emissaries will have seen more than thirty films together. This new 2025 vintage was particularly rich in committed works. In a fierce competition, Jafar Panahi won the Palme d'Or for A simple accident, film punching against the Iranian regime. Lovers of the seventh Art could also enjoy eclectic formal proposals in the image of Resurrection Bi Gan. Wes Anderson, Hafsia Herzi, Kirill Serebrennikov, Joachim Trier, Lav Diaz, Oliver Laxe... again this year, the festival chaired by Juliette Binoche welcomed her set of filmmakers on the Croisette! We share our warm return to the festival, our favourites and our mouths. Listening without moderation before going to read After-meeting and the analysis of the films that marked us.
